Anyway, you've probably seen this all over whatever social networks you have, but Earth is the only home we've got. Even though astronomers have been hard at work investigating deep space, none of the planets they have found match up to the standards of our own. There are a lot of concerning statistics which are definitely reasons to take action. Due to the rapid loss of forest area, in 100 years time, rainforests may not even exist anymore. This creates a huge decrease in biodiversity and will lead to the extinction of many species. Deforestation is also a looming issue. Trees provide stability to the atmosphere and allow for our very existence. But people are still chopping down trees at a rate of up to 20 football fields per minute!
My point isn't that we are going to all die tomorrow (although, it could happen). My point is that the future of Earth lies within our hands. If you don't take action, who will? Spread the message of a cleaner way of living to everyone you know. We can make a change if we all work towards it. Together.
This planet has done so much for us, now it's our turn to give back.
